Jingle Bell Ball!

I happened to have tickets for Capital's Jingle Bell Ball on Sunday the 8th of December at the amazing O2 Arena. I was in block 107, row V, seat 108 and thought these seats were actually really good for the back of the lower tier with the stage being straight in front.

The first performer to enter the stage was the wonderful Jessie J (here is a link to my blog post I did about her Alive arena tour which I went to in October! http://charlottecarina.blogspot.co.uk/2013/11/jessie-j.html). Jessie was incredible like usual and got the crowd warmed up immediately. She looked stunning and put on a great performance singing: Price Tag, Do It Like A Dude, It's My Party, Domino, Thunder and Wild along with Dizzee Rascal.

Next was John Newman and this was his first appearance at the event. He only sung Love Me Again and Cheating but they were both really good and he also joined Rudimental later on to sing with them.

After was Little Mix who were brilliant and had such a good routine! They sung Move, DNA, Wings and their new single Little Me. They are great live and they are really entertaining because they know how to work the stage and dance.

Lawson then performed and were also amazing, I have seen them quite a few times now and they have never once been bad. After the show finished Adam and Ryan walked straight past me and my best friend which I couldn't believe! They sung Brokenhearted, Standing In The Dark and Juliet.

After Lawson was Jason Derulo. He actually surprised me because I wasn't really looking forward to him but I thought he was really good. His dancing is absolutely amazing and his performance was great. However he didn't really talk to the crowd much which I thought was slightly rude. He sung 4 songs which were: The Other Side, Trumpets, Whatcha Say and Talk Dirty.

It was then the highly talented and bloody brilliant The Vamps. This is the biggest venue they have played at and they completely owned the stage and got a massive crowd reaction. They sung Can We Dance, Wild Heart and Jingle Bells which all sounded amazing and I am excited to see them at their own concerts in the future. (Sorry the picture isn't brilliant, it was hard to take a decent picture with my best friend going wild next to me.) ;-)

It was then the special guest who is called Elyar Fox. I really didn't enjoy him and he bored me because I guess I don't really know him but his voice was still pretty good. He only sung one song and that was Do It All Over Again.

Next was Dizzee Rascal and I didn't really enjoy him either because i'm not a particularly big fan of his type of music and we missed part of his performance because we decided to get a breather. His set seemed to go on forever and he sung Bonkers, The Power, Something Really Bad, Holiday and Love This Town.

Rudimental were awesome and I really enjoyed them! I saw them at the Summer Time Ball this year as well and they are really worth seeing because you cant help but dance. They performed Feel The Love with John Newman and Waiting All Night with Ella Eyre.

Obviously the best was saved to last and it was the person that everyone was looking forward to... the incredible Lady Gaga who is honestly such a born entertainer. She had a brilliant set which was amazing. I love how she changed things up and really performs to the crowd. She knows exactly what to do to get the reaction she wants and it is wonderful to watch. She sung Just Dance, Do What U Want, Applause, Born This Way, Bad Romance, Aura and Jingle Bells which were all spectacular.

That is it for this blog post, I will try write another soon when something interesting happens in the celebrity world and if you were wondering I used my Fujifilm camera for all of the pictures I used!

Jessie J

As this is my first blog post, I just want to take this moment to say hello and my name is Charlotte. I am going to be writing about concerts, music events, premieres and basically anything to do with celebrities. My main purpose of this blog is so I can get experience of writing because I am aiming to become a journalist when I am older and I think this is something I can put my time into which will hopefully help me develop my skills. So I hope you enjoy reading what I post and I am making my first blog post of my experience at the latest concert I attended!

I recently went to one of the amazingly talented Jessie J's concert at her first arena tour Alive. We had tickets for the 30th October at one of my favorite venues, the o2 Arena in London.

I really enjoyed the show and to kick it off she had an artist from America called Olivia Somerlyn. I didn't really enjoy her because she was singing her own songs but besides that she was quite a decent singer. However most people were more excited to see the other support act which is the well known band and great performers, Lawson. They were really good live and really got the crowd going before Jessie came out.

It was then time for Jessie to start her performance and she started by singing Big White Room which she sounded incredible at! She was honestly so wonderful and her voice sounds great live with it sounding exactly like how it does on the album. Throughout the show she made a few speeches which I found quite inspirational and she really entertained the crowd throughout the whole concert. She really is so talented and I think she is brilliant for all ages as I saw a whole range of people showing their support there! I really recommend going to see her because she is exceptional!

Despite this, I really did not enjoy the seats I had. We got them quite late on so that's why we ended up with seats at the top and personally I think they were horrible. I am fine with heights but I find the top so steep that it is quite scary to move. This really disappointed me because it meant that I could not get up and dance which I think makes a concert 100% more enjoyable. You can still see quite well but obviously it is tiny and pictures are quite hard to take. I would not recommend the top for anyone who is scared of heights and for anyone who enjoys really going wild at concerts because it is just so hard to do that up the top. I will probably not buy tickets for level 4 anymore as I have sat up there once before as well and this time has completely put me off.

My next concert I am going to is on the 8th December so I will aim to write about that once I have been but anyway, thanks for reading!
